AllClinics, turning fragmented hospital data into decisions

AllClinics is a healthcare market intelligence platform that builds a detailed, comparable profile of every licensed hospital in the United States: services and prices, insurance plans, affiliated physicians, medication and equipment.

AllClinics is Seedium's own product, founded by Seedium's CEO. We designed, built and operate it end to end.

Context

Information about hospital services and prices in the United States exists, but it is locked inside thousands of separate organisations, each with its own systems, formats and naming. That makes it hard to compare providers or understand the real cost of care.

Challenge

Bring data from thousands of sources into one reliable, current and comparable picture that researchers and businesses can filter, compare and trust.

What we did

  1. 01A connector for every source. Each data source gets its own connector, and all connectors feed one shared import pipeline, so adding a source means adding a connector, not rebuilding the system.
  2. 02An import pipeline built for scale. Written in Python with asynchronous, streaming processing, so even the largest files are handled in chunks without overloading memory. Kafka connects the stages, so a problem with one source never blocks the others.
  3. 03One data model, validated and matched. Every record is checked for completeness and plausibility. Records describing the same hospital, physician or insurance plan are linked into one profile, even when sources name them differently. The full dataset is refreshed every quarter.
  4. 04AI that makes data comparable. Models normalise inconsistent descriptions, classify services and procedures, and enrich each hospital profile with structured information.
  5. 05Tools people can use. Filters, sorting, dashboards and an interactive map by procedure, facility, insurer, state or county.
  6. 06A controlled AI assistant. A support chatbot answers from an integrated knowledge base, and a policy agent checks every AI answer against predefined rules to reduce hallucinations.
Result

Many messy sources into one trusted dataset is exactly what hospital sustainability data needs: invoices, energy bills, waste records and supplier reports.
